Component Structure
Innovaré Systems provides a fully comprehensive and totally integrated SIPS dry structure. i-SIP composite panels offer the latest in timber based construction methods for the design, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection of a structural insulated panel (SIPs) building system. As a sandwich panel construction utilising the latest high-grade materials, i-SIP structural insulated panels achieve exceptional performance standards for both Approved Document Part E and L and provides a significant contribution to the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Roof Tiles
With no weight limitations, the i-SIP structural insulated panel building structure
is fully compatible with slate, concrete, interlocking and plain tiles and clay
pan tiles.
For thatched roofs please contact us directly.
Window Openings
Door and window apertures are pre-cut during the manufacture of the structural insulated panel, ensuring an airtight fit in common with the rest of the i-SIP building structure.
Roof System
i-SIP insulated roof panel is available and creates a warm ´room in the roof´ space. This can achieve U-values from 0.24 to 0.16 with no additional ventilation required. Truss roof systems are also available where traditional systems are preferred.
External Wall System
The standard i-SIP structural insulated panel external wall system provides a U-value
of 0.23 calculated to BS BS EN ISO 6946 (depending on wall build-up and i-SIP panel
thickness), based on typical internal dry line and external finishes to a 162mm
panel. Further U-value enhancement can be achieved with low lambda EPS insulation
core of the structural insulated panel.

Floor Cassettes
i-SIP floors are designed and engineered in large format using Web Beam/I Beam/Hollow Core Concrete technology to suit user requirements and to contribute to the speed of build.
Party Wall System
111mm party wall i-SIP panels, constructed of 11mm OSB with 89mm thick EPS core and an additional 50mm sound quilt built into the cavity and factory-fitted, moisture resistant plasterboard. Timber frame party wall option also available using 89mm stud timber frame in place of structural insulated panel.
Ground Floor
i-SIP system can be assembled on any ground floor as best suits the ground conditions and foundations, typically insulated ground floor systems such as Hanson Jetfloor provide a good alternative to beam and block which can be completed quickly and to high standards of thermal performance.
Partition Wall
i-SIP structural insulated panel build system is supplied complete with partition walls with racking and load bearing performance where required.
Porch
The i-SIP structural insulated panel system can be designed to take surface hung prefabricated porches or site fabricated versions. Porches do not hinder performance of an i-SIP structure.
Foundation
SIPs building systems can be constructed on ring beam, podium slab or slab foundations.
