Innovaré at the London Marathon

Innovaré MD Pete Blunt and his wife Lucy will be running 26.2 miles at the London Marathon this weekend on the 22nd April, raising money for Children with Cancer.

Following Lucy’s recovery from breast cancer, twelve months on Lucy and Pete wanted to do something memorable to celebrate how fortunate they have been. Whilst a breast cancer charity would seem the obvious choice to run for, they decided to fund raise for a charity they felt was even more deserving of their efforts and money. Lucy says, “as an adult who has experienced the difficulties of a cancer diagnosis I can only imagine how much more frightening that must be for a child and their family.”

Pete says: “A massive thanks to all those that have been so generous in sponsorship. If anyone else can look down the side of their sofa for any more pennies it would be really appreciated for such a worthy cause.”
